To celebrate the two-week mark of this new blog, I've ordered a heat wave. I'm sitting here in my den, typing rather more slowly than I usually do, thinking considerably more slowly than I usually do, and wondering why there's no breeze coming in the back window.
I feel like my brain is turning into something that looks like oatmeal. I'm beginning to doubt that the thoughts coming into my mushy brain are even coherent ones. I know pretty much for a fact that I'm not going to be sleeping that well tonight.
So what a great bit of planning on my part that I've invited a couple of friends of mine to write guest posts for this blog. It means there will be some content up here that I didn't have to think up. And considering my above-mentioned brain state, that can only be a good thing. Read the rest of this entry »
